Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN): Developmental Disability Facility – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

We are actively recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for full-time positions at a state-operated intellectual and developmental disabilities facility in Clinton, South Carolina.

These highly sought-after positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful candidates must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment in accordance with the specified schedule.

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Job Details:

• Full-time schedule, 40 hours (five 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend)
• First shift (6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.), second shift (2:45 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.), and third shift (10:45 p.m. – 6:45 a.m.) positions are available

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License and Credentials Requirements:

• Current South Carolina or Compact LPN License
• Current CPR Certification, BLS – American Heart Association
• Current 2-step PPD or QuantiFERON
• Must have experience with G tubes and trach care

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Primary Job Duties:

• Monitor and record patient health
• Take vital signs
• Administer medications
• Provide treatments, including changing of wound dressings
• Consult with physicians on patient treatment plans
• Direct and supervise nurse assistants
