Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Behavioral Health

We are currently recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for full-time positions at a state-operated psychiatric hospital in the Anderson, South Carolina area. Your expertise and leadership will help ensure high-quality care to those in need.

These highly sought-after positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful candidates must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment in accordance with the specified schedule.

Job Details:

• Pay is $37.00 per hour
• Full-time schedule, 40 hours (five 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend)
• Rotating first / second shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. / 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) positions are available
• Straight second shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) positions are available
• Mandatory 10-day onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday, at the beginning of the assignment

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License and Credentials Requirements:

• Current South Carolina or Compact LPN License
• Behavioral health nursing experience
• Current CPR Certification, BLS – American Heart Association
• Current 2-Step PPD or QuantiFERON

Primary Job Duties:

• Administer medications and treatments
• Provide direct patient care
• Maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients
• Document pertinent data
• Direct and supervise Nurse Aides
