We are actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position with time split between two state-operated mental health clinics in Horry County, South Carolina, that provide counseling, psychiatric assessment, medication management, crisis intervention, and other services to those experiencing mental illness and emotional disorders. Your expertise and leadership will help ensure high-quality care to those in need.

The successful candidate must be able to begin their assignment as soon as credentialing is completed.

Job Details:

• Pay is $37.00 per hour
• Full-time schedule, 40 hours
• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (no weekends, no required overtime)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License and Credentials Requirements:

• Current South Carolina or multistate LPN license
• Previous behavioral health experience preferred
• Current 2-Step PPD or QuantiFERON
• Current CPR Certification, BLS – American Heart Association

Primary Job Duties:

• Provide psychiatric nursing services to patients with mental illness and emotional disturbances
• Complete and submit clinical services notes
• Maintain documentation of charts and other records
• Work with psychiatrists/physicians to coordinate medication needs and concerns
• Assist in operation and organization of medical supply room
• Perform other duties as required by direct supervisor and Clinic Director
