Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Behavioral Health

We have multiple openings for behavioral health LPN jobs in Anderson, SC, at a state-operated psychiatric hospital. Your expertise and leadership as a Licensed Practical Nurse will help ensure high-quality care for those in need, and you can expand your clinical background by working with a varied patient population.
These positions provide premium hourly pay and have a comprehensive benefits package.
Successful candidates must complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment according to the specified schedule.
Job Details
Pay: $37.00 per hour
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours
- Five 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
- Rotating 1st/2nd shift (7a–3:30p/3p–11:30p)
- Straight 3rd shift (11p–7:30a)
- Mandatory 10-day onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (8a–4:30p), weekdays, at the beginning of the assignment
Licensed Practical Nurse License and Credentials Requirements
- Current South Carolina or Compact LPN License
- At least two years of behavioral health nursing experience
- Current CPR Certification, BLS – American Heart Association
- Current 2-Step PPD or QuantiFERON
Primary Job Duties
- Administer medications and treatments
- Provide direct patient care
- Maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients
- Document pertinent data
- Direct and supervise Nurse Aides
