Job Details

Pay: $47.00 per hour

• 13- and 26-week contracts (with opportunities for contract renewals)
• Shift hours vary by facility

Full-time schedule, 36 hours

• Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
• Night shift positions (7p–7:30a)
• Day shift positions (7a–7:30p)

Full-time schedule, 40 hours

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
• Day and night shift hours and times vary

Full-time schedule, 40 hours

• Two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
• Day and night shift hours and times vary

License and Credentials Requirements

• Current Virginia or compact RN license
• Current CPR Certification, BLS – American Heart Association
• Current PPD

Primary Job Duties

• Conduct health assessments and sick call for inmates
• Administer medications and treatments
• Provide health education and counseling
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Monitor inmate health
• Treat inmate health conditions and injuries
• Supervise nursing assistants
