We have multiple openings for BHA jobs in Anderson, SC, at a state-operated psychiatric hospital. Your training and expertise as a Behavioral Health Assistant or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a behavioral health focus will help ensure high-quality care for those in need.
These highly sought-after positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful candidates for the BHA jobs in Anderson, SC must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment according to the specified schedule.
Job Details
Pay: $22 per hour
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours
- Five 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
- Rotating 1st/2nd shift (7a–3:30p / 3p–11:30p)
- 2nd shift (3p–11:30p)
- 3rd shift (11:30p–7:30a)
Mandatory 10-day onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (8a–4:30p), weekdays, at the beginning of the assignment
BHA License and Credentials Requirements
- South Carolina C.N.A. certification (preferred)
- At least six months of healthcare or related experience
- Current CPR Certification, BLS – American Heart Association
- Current TB Screen
Primary Job Duties
- Assisting in the implementation of patient care plans
- Providing direct support to patients in activities of daily living
- Monitoring, collecting, and recording data on patient behaviors
- Assisting with therapy sessions
