We have multiple openings to fill immediately for behavioral health CNA jobs in Black Mountain, NC, at a state-operated neuro-medical treatment center near Asheville, NC. Your behavioral health experience and training as a Certified Nursing Assistant will help ensure high-quality care for those in need.

Successful candidates must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment according to their contract.
Job Details
- 16-week contract (with opportunities for additional 13-week contract renewals)
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours
- Mandatory 4-week onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.), Monday through Friday, at the beginning of the contract period
Shift Details
- Five 8-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
- First shift (6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.)
- Second shift (2:45 p.m.–11:15 p.m.)
- Third shift (10:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.)
License and Credentials Requirements
- Current North Carolina C.N.A. certification
- Current PPD
- Current CPR Certification, BLS – American Heart Association
Primary Job Duties
- Assisting patients with daily activities: bathing, moving, and walking
- Taking and recording vital signs: measuring temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
- Supervising patients at all times: ensuring the safety and well-being of patients
- Assisting patients with basic personal hygiene
