Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Corrections

We have openings for LPN jobs in Turbeville, SC, at a state-operated adult correctional facility near the Florence area. Successful candidates must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment according to the specified schedule.

• Mandatory 3-week onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (8a–5p), weekdays, at the beginning of the assignment

Job Details

• Full-time schedule, 36 hours
• Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
• Night shift positions (6p–7a)

LPN License and Credentials Requirements

• Current South Carolina or compact LPN license
• Current CPR Certification, BLS
• Current PPD

Primary Job Duties

• Conduct health assessments and sick call for inmates
• Monitor and treat inmate health
• Administer medications and treatments
• Provide health education and counseling
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Supervise nursing assistants
