Registered Nurse (RN): Corrections

We currently have multiple openings for correctional RN jobs in Turbeville, SC, at an adult male institution outside of Florence. Your expertise and leadership as a Registered Nurse will help ensure high-quality care for those in need, and you can expand your clinical background by working with a varied patient population.

Correctional RN Job Details

Pay: $50.00 per hour

• Full-time schedule, 36 hours (three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend)
• Day shift positions (6a–7p)
• Night shift positions (6p–7a)
• Mandatory 3-week onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (8a–5p), weekdays, at the beginning of the assignment

License and Credentials Requirements

• Current South Carolina or compact RN license
• Current CPR Certification, BLS
• Current PPD

Primary Job Duties

• Conduct health assessments and sick call for inmates
• Monitor and treat inmate health
• Administer medications and treatments
• Provide health education and counseling
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Supervise nursing assistants
